Paul Maslansky is an American film producer, director, and screenwriter who was born on June 23, 1937, in New York City. He is best known for producing the popular Police Academy film series, which ran from 1984 to 1994. He also produced other notable films such as Three Men and a Baby (1987) and its sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady (1990).
Maslansky began his career in the film industry in the 1960s, working as a unit production manager and second assistant director on various films. He then moved on to producing and directing, working on films such as FELICITY (1979) and the cult classic The Chicken Chronicles (1977).
In addition to his work in the film industry, Maslansky has also been involved in various philanthropic endeavors. He co-founded the National Veterans Foundation in 1985 and served as its Chairman of the Board for many years.
Maslansky has been married twice and has four children. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
